Exam Marking - How to Create an Exam Task

The "Exam List" interface allows you to create and set up exam tasks, view exam details, and exam reports.

Create exam tasks

  1. Click on "Create Exam".
  2. Select the [Grade], [Subject], [Exam Type], [Assistant], and [Class Participating in the Exam] one by one.
    1. The assisting operator has management authority over this examination task.
  3. After clicking "Create Exam", take the blank exam paper and answer sheet to the printer to scan and upload them.
  4. Select the layout, student ID position, and paper size that correspond to the exam paper, and then upload the blank exam paper and the answer sheet in sequence.
  5. After uploading, the interface will display "AI analysis in progress...". Wait for the AI to complete the test paper analysis before setting up the exam.

Set exam tasks.

  1. Once the AI analysis is complete, the button status changes from "AI Analysis in Progress..." to "Settings". Click "Settings" to proceed with subsequent exam settings. It is recommended to use the web interface for settings.
    1. If the AI analysis finds an error in the uploaded test paper, you can delete the incorrect test paper by resetting the question settings.
  2. Score Setting : Set the score for each question on the exam paper. The method for setting the score is the same as the " Score Setting " for the grading task.
    1. You can check the "Teacher Grading" option in the question settings. After checking this option, the questions will not be graded by AI, but only by teachers.
    2. Click on "Adjust Questions" to adjust the questions on the exam paper.
  3. Question group settings : Define a single or multiple questions as a question group.
    1. The initial question set was set up so that one question constituted one question set.
    2. Click on "Edit Grading Question Groups" to select several questions as a group. The question group column on the right will update synchronously according to the selected content.
  4. Marking process settings : Marking tasks can be assigned by [question group], [class], [exam paper], and [free mode].
    1. Assignment by topic: Based on the topics set in the previous step, assign teachers to be responsible for grading the papers.
    2. Assignment by class: Teachers are assigned to grade papers according to their assigned classes.
    3. Teachers are assigned based on the proportion of exam papers graded.
    4. Free Mode: Select the teachers to grade the papers. All teachers will have the authority to grade all questions and can freely allocate the authority.
  5. Start the exam : After completing the design, click Start the exam.
  6. Once all settings are complete, the status will display "Setup Complete," and you can then scan and upload student papers.
    1. Once the setup is complete, click the "Setup Complete" button to modify some settings and skip steps.

Scan and upload the student's exam paper.

  1. Take the student exam paper to the printer and click on "Exam Details" to enter the exam task details interface.
  2. Click on "Scan Student Papers" to scan and upload student exam papers. First, place the student's paper with the title facing up in the paper feed slot, then click "Start Scan".
  3. After scanning and uploading, any unmatched test papers need to be manually matched.
  4. After completing the scanning and matching, click "Start Marking" to begin the marking task.
  5. Once the marking task is launched, teachers assigned marking privileges can go to the [Marking Task] section to mark the exam papers.
